Search efforts for finding the Nina are privately funded by the Nina crew families, friends, and various fundraising activities. No monies have been provide by any government agency or Texas EquuSearch. 100% of these funds go to conducting private air searches out of New Zealand and Australia. There are hundreds of non-paid volunteers and multiple commercial service providers, who freely give their time, efforts, and resources to help find the Nina 7.
